KABUL, AFGHANISTAN: It’s January 20, 2009, Barack Obama’s inauguration day. Maryam Ishani is in Kabul, training the young reporters who work for The Journalist Connection. She decides to take them to the city’s main bazaar, where they ask vendors and shopkeepers to send a message to the new U.S. President.
